This end of the Centennial Trail is pretty boring but this jaunt was a fun very visually stimulating one when I took it in September. I parked at Falls Park off S Spokane Street in Post Falls, hiked around the park and then out 4th street to Spokane St, south over the river on Spokane Street, into Q'emiln park to the end and then back. This route is about 1 1/4 miles(if you go to the west end of the park road) so about 2 1/2 miles round trip. If I had more time that day I would probably have continued south up Spokane street for a while to get some more mileage in. The sidewalk over the river on the west side of the road is great. The Q'emiln park has a great sandy beach along the river to walk or run on.
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.
