Went walkin in the Fernan Lake Natural Park east of Coeur d'alene. I don't think I had ever been to the Lake and was surprised that it was separated from Coeur d'alene Lake only by the freeway. The natural area has a parking lot and paths leadig through the woods that skirt the lake on the south side. Thepaths are well marked and the area nicely maintained. They were doing clean-up to trees that had fallen so some f the paths were marked as closed. Beautiful area, very north Idaho in feel. I will go back and explore deeper in for sure!
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.
