The Ben Burr Trail is about 2 miles roundtrip and connects Underhill Park with Liberty Park. It is paved and has really pretty setting for an urban trail. You can park in parking lots at either Liberty or Underhilll and walk south up on to the trail. A bridge over Altamont means you don't have to cross any streets, it just runs along the hill. Make sure and go all the way to the west end at Liberty Park so you can see what is left of the stone staircase that led up to what was the end of the trolley line back in the late 1800's,early 1900's.
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.
