Had to go to Post Falls to get something today and decided to stop at Falls Park to see if the Canadian Geese had babies yet. Governor Little has said people from Washington were not welcome in the parks and on the hiking trails but I figure if I leave some money with business in the state I can also take a minute to enjoy the beauty. A wonderful German Shepherd was walking with his people in the park. Kids, adults and waterfowl were abundant. A wonderful day to be alive and out in the spring air.
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.

New Kitten Kitty pictures
She was born in a barn and then got separated from her mother. She has a new human mom and is doing fine. Thought we could all use a little baby kitty therapy.

Columbia Plateau Cheney-Spangle
Another beautiful day! Lots of folks out riding bikes on the trail. The people in the photo are the dad and son of a family that was having a great day bicycle riding with 2 kids, dad and grandma.People enjoying the outside but still doing well with social distancing by respecting the space around each other when passing or coming up. In the last photo there is a marmot in the rocks, can you find him?

Palisades, Rimrock drive
What a glorious day to be alive! Went walking along Rimrock Drive, Palisades Park. People were out getting some exercise, walking, riding bikes, taking their 4 footed children out to get some air. They were doing a good job of "social distancing" while getting some much needed vitamin D. Millie was huffing and puffing but thrilled to be out with her new family.

Some pretty to brighten your day's
Spring has sprung and though we are having to be very careful and keep our distance from each other we can still enjoy the beauty of nature. These pictures are from Cheney Wetlands, Stevens Creek and Marshall. I through in a few pics of some fun chickens I saw when I went to get eggs. Hope they lift your spirits a little.
