This section of the trail runs right along the river and Upriver Drive, west of Argonne. I like to park in the lot about 1/8 of a mile to the east of the parking lot at the 16 mile marker, alot less busy. This is a popular area, there is a beach that people swim at at the 16 mile marker. Always great scenery and activity on this section. Lots of folks and their 4 legged kids out enjoying the sunshine today.
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.
