Went walkin the Columbia Plateau Trail off the Amber Lake Trailhead. Really neat to see the more arid and rocky landscape. Has the look of the Southwest to it. Not a lot of wildlife goin on right now, although we did surprise a few dear who spronged off. A Praying Mantis landed on some dry grass that was exactly the same color as he was. There were some really interesting plants.
Enjoying the paths, trails, roads and by-ways of the Inland Northwest by foot. Sharing where I've been through pictures and text so you can explore them yourself walking, jogging, bicycling or under whatever foot powered means you enjoy.
